Nike have taken the classic AF1 and flipped it on it’s head by adding multiple layers under each panel. Taking inspiration from the 2019 sacai collaboration, this doubled-up aesthetic can be seen all the way across the shoe. Double stacked portions are prominent on the heel tab, Swoosh, toe cap and lacing portion. Further new details come in the form of a rubber strap that wrap it’s way across the back portion of the shoe and a new overlay to the collar.

Utilising pastel tones perfectly, these underlaid colours support the new additions. Yellow, blue, purple and mint are the order of the day with a predominately sail base that anchors the shoe with aplomb.
