NIKE LeBron 15 Performance Review

“James” is a name that will excite most of we fans. And in the similar way, his signature shoes will thrill us as well. Followed by the 15th version is the 16th signature shoe of James. It was just recently released this year. This series has, amazingly, tried almost all kinds of Nike’s cushion technologies. But here we are going to take a look at the NIKE LeBron 15.

Sneaker collectors enjoy the numerous colorways of the Nike LeBron 15. But this NIKE LeBron 15 featuring grey is said to be the most popular model among the series. Besides that, the BattleKnit upper offers a super nice foot feel which is more comfortable and flexible compared with Flyknit. And the dragon scale weave on the side adds more fun to the shoe. Anyway, go on checking the shoe with me.

Looking at the front part, I am quite astonished at its idiosyncratic appearance. This NIKE LeBron 15 mainly features a grey color scheme, which seems very reserved but profound at the mean time. Also, many wearers think that the three-dimensional design of the LeBron 15 is aesthetically appealing.

The model has a pliable collar which makes it easy for wearers to put on. And it provides certain support for shoes. According to many buyers, they enjoy its premium, stretchy, and lightweight materials because it doesn’t require much time breaking in.

At the heel, the strap makes it easier to put on and take off. The golden swoosh logo below is used as the highlight of the whole pair of the shoes, which will make the shoes more lively.

The improved upper material came down as very good. And resulting from this, the shoe becomes very light, thus offering a capable feeling on courts. Many wearers, including me, love the texture, comfort, and flexibility provided by BattleKnit, which is also used in the more recently released LeBron 16. The improved uppers is just so resilient  that it has no pressure on the instep.

A single shoe weighs 391 grams, which is rather light and flexible compared with some other sneakers which weigh more than 500 grams.

The shoe’s wrapping is rather nice, which should be credited to the elastic braiding design at the collar, coupled with the flying string shoelace system. It offers nothing but comfort!

The vamp with different woven ways provides a little support for the shoes, but just a little. In the process of movement, the extend of the shoe’s deformation varies a lot, which largely depends on the wearer’s action, but the wrapping still exists. As for the upper’s support, it performs passably. The upper is super comfortable though, it does not provide enough upper support and foot containment. Other reviewer also remarked that it seems that Nike’s knit technology lacks support since players also gripe about the lack of support in Kevin Durant’s 11th signature shoe.

However, despite the fact, it is very surprising that the heel support is nice as there is swoosh’s encircle-reinforced TPU, which provides unusual stability for the shoe and makes up for the upper support.

Numerous fans say the deep grooves on the outsole of the Nike LeBron 15 provide a good court grip. Well, this is quite in agreement with its performance: the sharpness of the traction pattern works because the outsole does not attract a lot of dust; hence, wiping is seldom needed. Equipped with a crystal outsole, the shoe as a whole is rather eye-catching and appealing. However, in the spikes of the traction, it can not provide enough court grip which causes foot slippage. But after all, nothing is perfect. And I am sure Nike has tried its best to satisfy us consumers.

After two hours’ playing, the outsole still remained intact. It simply showed no signs of wear and tear.

Then for cushioning, you can see that(if you wear it in the flesh) the shoe bounces back instantly during walking even when there is only little pressure let alone running. The LeBron 15 just has really good cushioning because of the Zoom and Max Air combination in the midsole. And when there are high jumps, the cushion eases shock brought to the joints by gravity.

Well, even if the shoe is not perfect, it is still good. It is not that spectacular though, it still fits true to size. For LBJ super fans, these LeBron shoes are a home run.

NIKE LeBron 15 is  a combat sneaker, but also a fashionable model. On courts, you will find it become an aggressive and powerful beast. Though there might be risk of slipping, it can not stop we fans from falling in love with it.

The Features about Sneaker of 2019

Dating back to 2018, there were many excellent and brand-new sneakers, such as  Nike React Element 87, Nike Air Fear of God 1,  YEEZY 500 , PUMA Clyde Court and so on. For many sneaker fans, it is good news. And they sincerely hope this trend will be continued this year. As a loyal sneaker fan, I get very excited too when I have the capacity of buying a pair of beloved sport shoes of my own. Such thing is always very encouraging.

The Puma Ignite Limitless released by PUMA gained a large number of popularity, signified by official data. The most appealing part is its new lacing tech which is totally automatic.

For this one, the AIR MAX 720, it has made a newest record — the 38 mm super thick cushion is the most thick one among the sneaker market.

For all there has been many new designs appearing in the past several months of 2019. And among those shoes, the most arresting one is  Nike Adapt BB basketball  shoe and Puma Fi(Fit Intelligence). What is certain is that we are meeting many surprises in the rest of 2019. So, just stay tuned.

Judging from the newly released shoes, it is easy for us to draw such a conclusion: deconstruction is still the trend.

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1, adapting Back Swoosh, has won the affection and support of Michael Jordan. But as a result of this, the price of this shoe is on the increase. On the other hand, the “deconstruction” craze sparked by Virgil Abloh and The “The Ten” series is still continuing. The Sacai x Nike「Blazer with The Dunk」&「LVD with Waffle Daybreak」,UNDERCOVER x Nike Waffle Racer and COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Plus x Air Jordan 1 all sell very well of this year. Looking back, we’ll find that today’s sport shoes are much more neoteric and designers of today will no longer be confined to those traditional and conservative thought pattern.

The LOUIS VUITTON, designed by VIRGIL ABLOH who learned a design from vintage basketball shoes, gives us a refreshing feeling. Throughout the history of sports shoes, we’ll find that basketball shoes have a very important reference to fashion shoes. And with time going by, the difference between the two will be bridged in the near future. Take Nike Air Fear of God 1 for instance. Designed by  Jerry Lorenzo, it is very fashionable and there are many details worth pondering. As a pair of basketball shoes, Nike Air Fear of God 1 is not only very stylish, but more importantly, very influential.

Apart from the above, the fourth Damian Lillard signature shoe, the adidas DAME 4, is also a popular model;  the y-3 BYW BBALL basketball shoes inspired by James Harden and Nike Kobe 1 Protro that was partly designed by UNDEFEATED both demonstrate that basketball shoes can also be a fashion trendsetter. And except from  Why Not Zer0.2, the Russell Westbrook’s new signature shoe, a New Balance sneaker  designed for Kawhi Leonard is available now. It is a hot hit in most retailers.

SALOMON outdoor trail shoes has been frequently seen in many shows.

Nowadays, many woman sneakers are being continually released, which shows that these sport shoes are paying more and more attention to the development of female market. Last year, many famous brands, in the face of a large female market, have come up with exclusives for women, which was quite envied.

YOON has become a well-known female designer in modern world. Surely, her designs are to arise many attention. Just stay tuned. Surprises are on the road.

Which one is better compare with Harden Vol 2 and LeBron 15 ?

It is popular since James Harden’s second signature shoes —adidas Harden Vol 2 released. But James Lebron’s signature shoe Nike LeBron 15 also the amazing products , then what is the difference ?

We will check whats kind of difference  for these two pairs of shoes today.

The adidas Harden Vol. 2  ,as part of the brand’s epic “Calling All Creators” spot , it is will be colorful then Lebron 15 .  It feature a bright orange melon upper with tropical graphics and a black Boost composition.

While the  LeBron 15″City Edition,” predominantly styled in varying shades of grey. Metallic Gold fills in the Swoosh branding that wraps the heel and an icy translucent sole finishes the job below,it is total different between with the Harden Vol 2.

For cushioinng , the Harden Vol.2 as usually used the boost technology .we can feel more  Boost pellets into the midsole made it firmer which  creating more stability while also increasing overall impact protection. That is the Adidas technology .

Then the Nike Lebron 15 also performance well , the cushioning also great ,but it is totally different .The bounce and feedback felt from the Zoom units is  amazing.  Air unit in Phylon also did a great job .

For the protection , all both have  the protection sponge, so the protection will be great ,but the Lebron 15 will be more protection , maybe the Lebron 15  will be higher up for the heel. It is must be protection .

Harden vol.2 ,the low-cut sneaker features a mesh-based upper with a toe fortified by additional stitching embedded into the shell, while the heel of the sole traction wraps upwards. The designer said this shoes “Some premium leather would enhance my overall experience right now.” , but in the real game , it is seem a  little normal , even if you broken violently ,the  upper will be fray quickly . The textile mesh at the forefoot required no break-in time while the additional stitching throughout increased the material’s strength quite a bit.

But for Lebron 15 ,the material is durability and stability . The LeBron 15 features evolved Flyknit construction that provides stretch, “This is my favorite shoe to date,” James told Nike. “The performance benefits and sophisticated look make this shoe a force on and off the court.” as the James told , the performance is really amazing . it feels awesome on-foot for the material , If you were unimpressed with the stiff upper used on the LeBron 14, you may find that the material choice on the LeBron 15 .

For the supporting , the Lebron 15  will be better than the Harden vol.2 Lebron 15 have  a TPU support plate in the midsole, and there is also a TPU fixed on the heel ,which offer a great supporting. It is  surprising that although these shoes have a little high center of gravity.

Then the Lockdown was surprisingly nice from heel to toe. While the lacing structure relies solely on Flywire, it did its job rather well. The top “eyelet” or Flywire cable work well.

However for  support and protection function, the Lebron 15 seemingly weak for the material BattleKnit is better than expected. Of course, it cannot be compared with other shoes, especially those with posite materials, but LeBron  15 ,it should be arguably a very good in the basketball shoe market.

For the traction , I have to say the Lebron 15 is amazing . You can feel the triangle pattern bite and grip the court really well from a linear standpoint. it is  solid rubber. I know there are someone dont like it .  also it  use translucent rubber that will be more enticing than some of the offerings that use solid rubber, and it it will be easy to collect the dusty .The grip is nice anyway .

Then for the Harden vol.2 , the traction just so so . the grip is great , then the rubber will be soft , if you like the soft traction, this one is the best for  you

Overall, they are different but the performance is  nice . The Lebron 15 is really great for more weight one , Materials and fit are highlights, and the cushion is the best Nike has offered in years.  it is stability  and durability .then the Harden Vol.2 had provided me with the same exceptional responsive ,the boost always the best .
