Nike Kobe ad mid Performance Review

Last year, I was fortunate enough to come across the discount of Kobe ad mid. So, as a loyal fan of Kobe and Kobe sneaker, I surely wouldn’t let the opportunity slip by. Immediately, I bought it with the lowest price I’ve ever seen. And it is certain that there won’t be any chance as such. Therefore, I feel I am lucky enough to chance to this kind of thing. Here is the review of Kobe ad mid. Please go on checking with me.

A prominent difference of this Kobe ad mid from other colorways is in the tongue: other colorways are featured with signature and Kobe logo while this one is characterized with the left shoe embroidered black and the right manba. And this yellow and black colorway is a bit unprecedented I think. With the black shoe body and yellow traction, it seems simple, but on the other hand, it is also aesthetic. On the side, there is the symbolic logo, which is indispensable.

In terms of the setup of  midsole, it is the arch carbon plate + full-foot lunarlon + back large horseshoe shaped zoom. According to other reviewers’ article that the thickness of the back zoom is 14 mm which is twice the thickness of the first version of AD. Actually, during the outdoor experience, the back zoom is much softer than the first edition. Besides, the forefoot offers more transparent feeling. And if you place more pressure on it, it gives you more feedback. But as a result of the lunarlon materials, it is reasonable that you may feel it isn’t bouncy enough.

The support and wrapping, for the most part, result from  the suede upper and the anti-rollover design in the midsole. Theoretically, such kind of luxurious setup should have gained a large amount of popularity, but it just turned out to be an average sneaker.  When you are running, the hard upper will protect you from slipping down. But it is also as a result of the hard upper that the wrapping enhanced by the Flywire is greatly declined. Therefore, this downside should result in the extra room inside the shoe, thus further bringing in the not tightly fitted wrapping. To tell you the truth, I felt not so comfortable in my dynamic playing, which might be closely related to my foot type.

Looking at the yellow traction, though without the support of XDR, it still grips very nicely. It just reminds me a lot of other sneakers who claimed to have the support of XDR. For the record, for all having no XDR, it is not in the least worse than other shoes. I should admit that for me this is the most satisfying respect of this Kobe ad mid. For those who care about the sound that the traction makes, it might be a bit loud–compared with everyone else in the gym, it sounds like screeching. But that doesn’t equal a bad performance. On various kinds of grounds I’ve tested earlier, it could handle with them easily. Above all, it has a very good durability which ensures a long-lasting company.

Overall:

Well, for all the sneakers I bought, this Kobe ad mid  is definitely a special one for me. To some extent, I like it very much and on the other hand, it disappoints me a bit as well. The cushion and  the traction setup are quite excellent. And I also fall in love with  its “unusual” appearance. However, the wrapping is another point that bothers me quite a lot. Every now and then on court, I have to stop and fasten the laces more tightly, otherwise I might run into an awful experience. Anyway, these are personal feelings. If you are considering purchasing it, you might as well try it on stores.

Air Jordan 33 Performance Review

According to virtually all reviewers, Air Jordan 33 impresses them most by its “unusual” appearance. It is also said that a lot of buyers like the shoe’s aesthetic. But honestly speaking, when I first saw the Air Jordan 33’s pictures, it didn’t left me any deep impression; if any, then it is the “homely” colorway. Later, by chance, I got a pair of this Air Jordan 33. So that’s why this review exists.

It is known that Allen Guo likes mint green very much and it seems Allen Guo is the spokesperson of the mint-green color. And after getting the shoe, what surges into my mind is that if regardless of the shoe’s setup, the shoe’s appearance can not be said to be impressive. Seeing the pictures alone, you may think the shoe as a low-top one. But to the contrary, it isn’t the case. But don’t be worried because for those who have high instep, this Jordan 33 is also available.

Looking at the shoe more carefully, you will find that the Fastfit’s forefoot lock is placed below the upper, which avoids accidents brought by the lacing system in most cases.

Compared with previous editions, there is not much changes in the cushion. It is still the regular forefoot Zoom+heel Hex Zoom+Flightspeed+Fastfit. But this is different from the other versions to some extent: the unlocked Zoom Air is back in the forefoot while the heel features a small Hex-Zoom unit–something we haven’t seen in an Air Jordan signature since the 22. With this improvement, practically all fans are delighted with the shoe’s cushion setup. They even shared that “it offers us an equal amount of mobility, court feel, and impact protection as the Air Jordan 32.” Indeed, it performs very well. The cushion is soft. Well, more precisely, it is super elastic. The feedback is immediate and sufficient. For most people, it is more than enough.

For me, another appealing setup is the “Fastfit that can finally come in handy”.  And this time the tightening system extends to the heel, which can be obviously found. The FastFit system of the AJ XXXIII is according to a large number of reviewers no gimmick . It uses easily and does an amazing job of securely locking the foot in place. But it is  is a bit tricky to tighten, several testers gripe.

Some remarked that Air Jordan 33 is overpriced. However, in the light of all the practical setup, the price is rational.

For all being no laces, support and wrapping in the Air Jordan 33 is quite awesome. Besides, made of mesh and synthetic overlays, the upper feels quite nice and light. Different from that of the Jordan 32, the textile of Jordan 33 here is far more lighter, thinner, and breathable. Providing that you fasten the strap, you may get stunned at the integrity of your feet and the shoe. And you will even feel you are just wearing a pair of socks. Surely, many of you who wear them on-court should enjoy them the way they are. Above all, it is the Fastfit that does a great help: it locks the foot especially the heel part quite well. To a large extent, but for the  Fastfit, the wrapping would have lacked.

Comfort is important. It is certain that Air Jordan 33 is comfortable enough that you will not want to take it off even when you are not on court. It is no joking! A reviewer declares that step-in comfort is really nice. So if you end up trying it, you will have the same feeling. In addition  to that, Jordan 33 fits true to size–it is something I enjoy very much for it really runs true to size.

In terms of the traction, the pattern is similar to that of the Nike Kobe AD NXT 360. Then what about the performance? Some of my friends who have tried the Jordan 33 shared that it has a better traction over  the Air Jordan 31 and 32. And here is my experience: the Air Jordan 33 bit the floor nicely when I was doing emergency stops; I’ve never run into any slipping on court whatever what kind of floor I play on; it showed no worn after many games. Therefore, this respect is something you can expect. And if you chance to have Jordan 33, then you should know I am just telling the truth.

Overall:

Both very solid are the  traction and cushion. Materials used are carefully selected. The wrapping makes my feet integrated with the shoes. Aside from these, the cushion offers me a feeling of stepping on a pillow. In short, I am very satisfied with it.  I am not sure whether all of you will like it, but what is certain is that Air Jordan basketball shoes are fun to play in and Jordan 33 will be a necessity for some players.

The Comparison Between Jordan CP3.XI,Jordan Super.Fly 2017 and Adidas Marquee

Under the help of James Harden, Chris Paul has eventually led the Houston Rockets to the Western Conference Finals. Now it’s high time that we looked at Paul’s eleventh signature shoe–the Jordan CP3.XI. But as the title suggests, there will be a comparison between Jordan CP3.XI,Jordan Super.Fly 2017 and Adidas Marquee. So please go on checking with me.

For the first part, let’s check the traction of the three. Personally, the Jordan CP3.XI offers me the most excellent grip. It is not in the least worse than other sneakers. In other words, it has the most satisfying setup I’ve ever seen. I wore it to play basketball the other day and after an evening’s play, it showed no any worn. Admittedly, nothing puts a level of expectation on an outsole quite like herringbone. And as a result, it didn’t fail me.

For Jordan Super.Fly 2017, I also tested it on the same floor. But it just turned out to be average. Well, some reviewers observed that it is a beast both indoors and outdoors. But it seems it isn’t the case for me. However, I have to admit that the outdoor durability of the shoe’s outsole is something we can expect. Made of translucent rubber compound, the outsole’s durability can live up to your expectation.

As for the Adidas Marquee, the traction  pattern featured on the Marquee Boost is good ol’ herringbone, which means it can offers multidirectional coverage from heel to toe. I should say that this one can compete with the Jordan CP3.XI. But the only one downside is that it should attract a lot of dust to it, which is really bothering because it requires frequent cleaning. In short, the traction is solid providing that the courts were clean.

In terms of the support and wrapping, Jordan CP3 11 is sufficient in these respects. It is designed half-soled complemented by the binding belt support of Velcro. In addition, the Velcro embedded in the middle bottom of the root material is relatively hard, which increases the ability to prevent rolled-over. But some reviewers said that it would have been nice had the shoe offered an external TPU shank. Well, I think the support is enough for most players.  All in all, I think it’s simple and effective.

Then what about the cushion? For this CP3 11, heel and forefoot Zoom Air placed directly into a semi-firm Phylon midsole are essential. There is a forefoot fan-shaped zoom with TPU connected to the back hexagonal zoom. It must be admitted that the feedback from the forefoot of cp11 is indeed fantastic. Before this review, I’ve wore it for some outing for several days. And it turned out to be quite awesome. The longer I wear, the more obvious the feeling becomes . As for Adidas Marquee, it is so soft that I feel my strengths are worn out. Anyway, this is based on the ground of personal experience. Some may find their feelings are quite different from mine. Therefore, it just depends.

The biggest problem of Jordan CP3.XI that may arise is the lack of breathability. Since the upper is made of leather material, I won’t recommend it to those who have a fear for heat and those who usually play games on outdoor courts.

Overall:

Definitely, the Jordan CP3 11 is worth your trying. If you end up trying it, it is likely that you might see it in a different way. But I do not contend that the other two are not worth trying, but that they are also excellent ones which deserve well treating.

Nike LeBron Soldier 13 Performance Review

It is a pity for many fans that LeBron didn’t show up on the NBA court this time. And what was also absent was the Soldier series which had accompanied LeBron for many years. In addition, it was not until the NBA was over that the Nike LeBron Soldier 13 was then released. At most retailers’ or in online stores, it is available now. And out of question, it has set off a buying frenzy. Here I’ve also got a pair of Soldier 13. So  let’s check it together.

From an objective perspective, the appearance of Soldier 13 is not so outstanding. If it were placed among other sneakers, I wouldn’t even glance at it let alone pick it up for it is indeed so average. There is simply nothing special in the appearance; if anything, it is the regular style inherited from the previous versions. In the upper, there are the two similar straps which are essential for the shoe’s support and wrapping. Compared with the last version, however, the shoe’s style has changed a bit, which is based on the ground that the midsole no longer has the same curvature in the arch of the foot as the previous version. And the 12th edition is relatively monotonous whereas Soldier 13 has a more bright colorway.

It seems the side is rich in color and the way of stitching makes it somewhat different from the previous editions. As for the heel part, it is quite similar to that of the Soldier 16.

Another important factor when buying shoes is comfort. For all the integrated shoe body, there is still much room left at the neckline. So it can fit with most people’s feet. Some users don’t find the shoe’s collar height a hindrance to their mobility and range of motion due to the notched heel. On the other hand, the upper is made of fabric, thus making it very soft and comfortable to wear. Some buyers even remarked that “The padded upper conforms well to the foot after a couple of wears, creating a supportive and comfortable fit.”

After my testing this Soldier 13, I just felt like wearing it all day. It is so comfortable that I am unwilling to take it off. But here I suggest that you fasten the two straps before games or it may bother you  a lot.

It is certain that you know  Soldier series’ purpose is to maximize its performance and aim at protecting the wearer if you are a fan of Soldier. Similarly, let’s make a comparison between Soldier 13 and the other versions. In the strap part, Soldier 13 is designed simpler, but the wrapping has correspondingly decreased. However, I do not mean that the shoe doesn’t perform well in this respect, but that it still performs superbly or to some extent, much better than previous editions. So long as you fasten it before combat, you will feel your foot “confined” inside the shoe. But there is one downside: the sock-like construction of the shoe causes a lot of bunching and bulging especially when laces are tightened. So you’d better cautiously make choices when you are buying. As for the ankle part, it gives you enough support and protect your joint spontaneously.

Traction looks and feels amazing. But a large percentage of buyers share that the traction, at first glance, will not do too well. However, it just turns out that almost all of them are pleasantly surprised for the traction gripped both clean and dusty courts well and is even aggressive on outdoor courts. Made of XDR durable rubber plus the water ripple pattern, the outsole is specially designed for combat.  It can be said to be a beast on court! It performs far more better than the Soldier 12 which had really good traction already.

Therefore, it won’t be a challenge for the outsole to maximize its performance on average plastic ground.

Heel and forefoot Zoom Air is placed within the Phylon midsole. In spite of the setup, hardly can the heel cushion be felt when walking. Many a fans observed that the 13 has improved Hexagonal Zoom Air units in the midsole, therefore, they’ll choose the cushioning setup of the 13 over the Nike LeBron 12’s. And I also thing well of the cushion setup: as a result of the hexagonal shape of the Zoom Air cushioning, I find that I can flex my foot smoothly and it has for the most part the same level of flexibility as the LeBron 16. Above all, the Phylon foam  also “has extra bounce that complements the Zoom units’ responsiveness.”

Overall:

In short, nothing is perfect and so is LeBron 13 .  I always cling to the belief that imperfect is also beautiful.  To some degree, I should say this LeBron 13 is a reliable mate.  Making allowance for  those who has wide feet, it has been deigned to meet their require. Anyway, it is an excellent sneaker and you won’t get disappointed.

A Detailed Look at New Balance Omn1s

New Balance has recently released an Omn1s and I feel I am lucky enough to learn more about it and demonstrate some details to you. This newly released model had caught much attention before its launching. And after the launch we could see that numerous New Balance OMN1S  were all  quickly sold out at the retailers’–they sold very well.  Personally, it will become,  as it were,  a beast on court  providing that you can get along well with it. I’ve tried the New Balance series many times before and this New Balance Omn1s  is for me like an old friend. So I feel particularly familiar with it. Here I’ve also got a pair of this Omn1s . Let’s have a detailed look at it together.

First of all, let’s get a simple look at the shoe box. But honestly speaking, there is nothing special in it. It is the regular shape with bright red and the “NB” logo in it. On the side, there is the basic information of the shoe.

The moment I opened the box, hardly could I remove my eyes away from it.  “Cool” is the only one word that came into being in my mind. The shoe’s appearance is just aesthetically pleasing. The colorway is black and blue, which looks very harmonious. In addition, it can match all kinds of daily dressing, which seems good news for many a fans.

In my view, the shoe’s wrapping is entirely dictated by the lacing system. When I was on court, I felt my feet integrated with the shoes and there wasn’t any slipping inside the shoe. Well, I think highly of the laces while some buyers shared that “the laces are just decoration.” Therefore, it may largely rest upon personal experience.

Surely, in summer days, ventilation must be first ensured  so as to break the sales records. Made of mesh, the upper is super breathable.

As for the cushion, I feel it is passable. The New Balance equips the fuelcell which was once used in running shoes. And during my games, for the record, it didn’t fail me nor did it satisfy me. To tell you the truth that I am a heavy player, so the feedback the cushion offers will be relatively transparent. As for the lighter ones, they may feel the cushion hard and useless.

With respect to the traction, it is fantastic. The  outsole is made of pale blue crystal rubber and the pattern is the typical herringbone. Besides that, there’s a large “NB” logo in the outsole. And apparently, we can see a tree-branch shape TPU embedded inside  the sole. Now that it has been tested, you can believe me that the traction grips very well. On wood floor or concrete one, the outsole hugs it tightly when there are emergency stops in case you slip down.

For the materials, here is a close picture of the upper. Before getting the shoes, I had thought it was a hot-pressed material with a black and blue gradient. But to the contrary, the gradient patterns are woven instead of dyeing.

As for the size, you’ll have to choose carefully or you may run into a smaller size.

Here are some means to protect your beloved shoes if you chance to have a pair of this New Balance Omn1s. Chances are that you will find the outsole filled with gravels after one-day wearing out; hence, it requires you to do some frequent cleaning. Besides, don’t get your shoes exposed to the sun for a long time nor should you put it in an environment that is  extremely cold. What’s more, extremely wet or dry conditions should be avoided.

Overall:

The New Balance Omn1s has proven to be a reliable mate. If you’ve got one pair of this shoes, all you need to do is to show some care for it and surely it will in turn pay you back.

Adidas CLIMACOOL Performance Review

As the summer approaches, many a people can not bear the burning hot days, not to mention those who exercise in outside floors; hence, this adidas CLIMACOOL rises in response to the time and occasion. As one of Adidas’ typical running shoes, the CLIMACOOL always does its best to satisfy its consumers. And I’ve got to tell the truth that the CLIMACOOL offers the best breathability. The majority of the reviewers shared that this pair delivers excellent ventilation. It is the best I’ve ever seen in this aspect. So beyond question, it becomes one of the most popular sneaker. Generally, the preference felt toward a sneaker usually spreads to the whole series to which the sneaker belongs. And according to the data, CLIMACOOL series has become most people’s preference in summer since 2002. Then for this pair, it has been greatly improved in many respects, such as the materials used in upper, the shoe type and so on. All in all, all these efforts are to shake off some runners’ burden and let them feel comfortable.

The colorway of this Adidas CLIMACOOL is navy blue matching the fluorescent yellow. Personally, the appearance of Adidas CLIMACOOL series is never too old nor too cold. It features a three-layer breathable mesh upper thus delivering excellent ventilation. Though the upper is light soft and breathable , support won’t be absent. At the side, the curved pattern will let us think of the ripples which adds some feeling of movement to the shoe. The black stripe has a two-layer structure, and a small amount of filler is interposed between the inner and outer layers of the navy blue stripe.

Still, there is the Adidas logo in the heel part. And CLIMACOOL also installs a hollowed MONO yarn so as to create an area that is extremely cool and breathable. On top of that, the three-bar LOGO, made of  TPU material,  has a certain degree of support for the upper.

For the lacing system, it uses the flat one which laces easily while the longitudinal strips  form the tongue setup.

The “CLIMACOOL” in the inner part again shows the series the shoe belongs to.

The upper is a bit loose and there is spare room for your foot in the forefoot, but the lacing system and the TPU in the middle compensate for this. To tell you the truth,  I hadn’t expect it to perform very well. Before my review, I read some other testers’ articles. I had credited what they remarked and thought I would run into the same feelings that they had. But during my tests, it just turned out to be quite satisfying. Even though there is extra space in the forefoot, I’ve never come across any slipping.

Well, I’ve mentioned many times that  this pair delivers excellent ventilation. The designer has, as it were, tried diverse methods to maximize ventilation. The breathability is guaranteed wherever the designer can think of. “Keeps you cool+dry” is the mission of the series. So don’t get shocked when you  find that even the outsole is hollowed. Looking at the images, you can see there are several “holes” in the sole. For all the “holes”, the traction can still perform very well. Along with the “holes”, the other frictional stripes makes up of the outsole. In many kinds of grounds, say, the cement floor or the wood floor, it hugs them super well. When there are accelerations or emergency stops, you will know then it works best at times as such. And if you like running outdoors, you should bear in mind that your socks may get “black” as it invites much dust to its surface through the “holes”.

The Torsion System anti-rotation piece embedded in the midfoot ensures the stability of the  shoes.

The high-density venting insole further enhances breathability.

When it comes to the cushion, the well-known Boost must be mentioned. And it seems Boost can virtually be seen in every well-know sneaker. However, in the era of Boost, Adidas CLIMACOOL chooses an unusual way–it uses Bounce instead.  If the Boost is said to be soft and bouncy, then Bounce should be classed to be hard and bouncy. Surely, the two are often compared. But objectively speaking, no one is superior to another. It entirely consists in personal preference. When pressure is placed on it, you can feel it bounce back quickly. What’s more, the whole feedback process is relatively clear, and the transition between cushioning and pressure releasing and rebound providing power is relatively smooth.

Overall:

To summary, Adidas CLIMACOOL is available at a rational price point. It not only delivers  excellent ventilation, but also exceptional comfort as a training footwear and as a lifestyle kick. Many a buyers share that they will highly recommend this pair to their friends and so will I. In hot summer days, one thing you can’t lack is this  Adidas CLIMACOOL.

JORDAN CP3.XII PF Performance Review

Last year, the Rockets renewed Paul with a four-year, 160 million contract, but as a result of his injuries, Paul’s status has inevitably declined. And since then the price of Paul’s signature shoes are also inescapably decreased. But for most fans, it may not be a bad thing if the price is cut down for they can not only get their beloved shoes, but also save a large amount of money.

And as a loyal fan of Paul, I also got a pair of JORDAN CP3.XII PF. Besides, like many people, I chanced to get the sneaker as well for the price was cut down. Well, there are at times when we’ll feel very lucky and happy simply because we get a thing we’ve been longing for. And that’s the case for me: upon getting the shoes, I can’t help wearing them out. So excited was I that I even forgot taking my basketball to the court.

Regarding to this JORDAN CP3.XII PF’s appearance, I should say that “There are one thousand hamlets in the eyes of one thousand people.” Or in other words, the views towards beauty is largely dictated by subjective feelings. As for this sneaker, it is likely that a large part of fans won’t regard it as beautiful. If there were no talk that it was Paul’s signature shoes, no one would think it be a sneaker designed for stars.

As we can see from the pictures that except that the logo in the tongue there isn’t any details respective of Paul.

And in the heel part leather materials are used, which is a normal operation.

Personally, the most important thing when buying shoes is comfort. Without comfort , however well the shoe can perform there is simply no point talking about other things. Made of mesh, the upper is very soft and offers enough breathability. And unlike some sneakers,   JORDAN CP3.XII PF won’t cause the foot stuck. For most people, the case is that it fits true to size. All you can feel is that it wears so comfortable that you are reluctant to take it off.

An obvious change of this shoe is that the laces are removed, which I don’t reckon as a wise choice. I’ve mentioned earlier that the upper is very soft, hence the shoe’s support may be a bit insufficient. Inside the shoe is leather while outboard braid vamp interior also uses leather to undertake reinforcing processing. However, this combination is not enough to provide support especially when there are emergency stops or acceleration.

The change of the lacing system also results in the insufficient wrapping. During my games, I often felt that as time went by, signs that the upper loosens becomes more transparent.

Made of durable rubber, I am sure JORDAN CP3.XII PF will be a long-lasting companion. For the pattern of the traction, it is the combination of regular herringbone and water ripples. Theoretically, the traction can perform not bad on all kinds of ground, but unexpectedly, things didn’t fare the way we had expected–there were frequent slipping when I was doing emergency stops. But objectively speaking, this may be related to the court I played on; hence, we can’t rush to the conclusion that the outsole doesn’t grip.

As for the shoe’s cushion, there is still a ZOOM AIR in the forefoot. On the ground of my tests, I didn’t feel the super springy feedback. It was only  after some time getting along with  could I get the feeling I had expected. On top of that, the heel foam will be more impressive for it does not require any time to get along with but it  bounces back more quickly. It just shows a clearer rebound effect than the forefoot cushion.

Overall:

I’ve heard of many a fans remarked that JORDAN CP3.XII PF  looked so average that I even would not pay attention to it if it was placed in stores. But it is like a pet dog that so long as you show your care for it and get along with it for some time, it will repay you a lot. In short, the setup of the shoe are not bad. And with  the rational price, surely, it won’t fail you.

Jordan CP3.XII Performance Review

It is understood that Jordan plays a significant part in recent years. It can even be said to be on top of the field. Later Paul leads the Rockets to the second round of the playoffs to compete with Warriors. He worn Jordan CP3 12 in the competition and then spontaneously, the Jordan CP3 12 became the focus of people’s attention. Today we will take a look at this Jordan CP3 12 which could be Chris Paul’s last signature sneaker with Jordan Brand.

Now let’s turn back to the shoes. Seeing the pictures of CP3 12, we will find that this version is similar to the CP3 11 in many aspects. But there are some differences. First of all, the upper is rather different from that of CP3 11. The leather of the front sole in CP3 11 is replaced by an integral woven upper. Then the instep strap in CP3 11 can no longer be seen in CP3 12–it is removed. Besides, the symbolic logo in the heel is also supplanted by camouflage graffiti.

Only  by looking at the shoes, personally, it is rather simple. Some testers even observed that “it looks very generic if putting it in the exclusive shop of NIKE or Jordan. ” And while in some fans’ term, the case is that it is a bit disappointing. And except the owl logo on the tongue and the number 3 on the inside of the forefoot, there isn’t any personal marks of Paul. Then here is a brief introduction of the owl logo. The pattern is composed of the 12 Zodiac symbols of the Paul family members and the owl represents the sharp vision of the point guard.

As a result of the large mesh upper or in other words, the design of vamp, the shoe’s support becomes relatively worse. The support of vamp  becomes, as it were , the biggest problem of the shoe’s performance. The upper is a bit loose even if you fasten your shoelaces tightly. Therefore, in order to compensate for the downside, it uses leather in the inside of the shoe to enhance its wrapping. For all the bad support, I do  not contend that Cp3 12 is not a good companion, but that it may not be a wise choice for those who want a perfect sneaker.

For the traction, on a personal level, I like it best. Looking at the outsole, I should say it is the most special design I’ve ever seen–the outsole is segmented into 2 parts with  a camo pattern on the inside and a plain grey pattern on the outside. As for its performance, I am rather satisfied with it. The CP3 12 is a good comrade with  which I am given to playing. If you don’t play on a special kind of floor, but on all kinds of grounds, say the concrete one, then you might as well take it into consideration. Surely, it will be a rather reliable assistant on court. What’s more, it’s said to be much more durable than other average sneakers and it does perform far more better than AJ33 & KD12. But putting it broadly, no matter how well it performs, slipping can never be entirely avoided; hence, to decrease such phenomenon, I won’t recommend you play on it on dusty or wet grounds for there may be some slipping.. But on the other hand, slipping can also be closely related to the way you play. So, to conclusion, it rests on objective conditions whether there is slippery phenomenon or not .

As is mentioned earlier that as a result of the mesh upper, breathability is guaranteed though it is a bit heavy. Even in hot summer days, you can still have a hearty game regardless of the bothering sweat because it is, for the most part, tantamount to wearing nothing.

With respect to the cushion, there is a fan shaped ZOOM Air Cushion in  the forefoot of CP3 12 and there is only a hexagon ZOOM Air Cushion on the heel. However, before this review, I’ve heard of many people complaining about the high price. But judging from the cushion’s performance, you will then draw a conclusion  that CP3 12 is worth the price. Once you have a try, you can feel the obvious feedback. Softness, bounciness and excellence are all tags of CP3 12’s cushion.

Overall:

Of all the shoes I’ve ever tested, this Jordan CP3 12 impresses me the most. Maybe it’s because of personal preference that I am prone to simpler and meanwhile aesthetic appearance. So I prefer this one to other shoes. And I even wear it for outing, shopping or whatever else except sleeping. Well, the preference varies a lot, so the choice rests in you.

NIKE KD12 Performance Review

Many a people observed that the Nike KD 11th is just so so; if anything, it is rather disappointing. But now that it has become a past, why not have a look at the new version–the Nike KD 12th ? Well, I bet that the KD 12th will make up for the last edition with its entire potential. Like Durant who  impresses us by his unpredictable performance on court, then what surprises will the latest version, which will accompany him in the playoffs, bring to us?

Only by seeing the pictures, you will find the large TPU on the side. But what is magical is that you can see many different colors from different angles.

Next it’s about the upper.  The designer uses the black hollow mesh, which wraps the wearer’s feet more tightly than the last edition, making you feel like you are just wearing socks. Here I’ve got to tell you that for all the mesh-made upper, the breathability is a problem; therefore, for those who have a preference for playing in hot summer days, I recommend you consider other choices.

The materials used in the shoes are textiles, screen mesh and Fuse, which are similar to the last version all over again. They are neither premium nor lacking.  But they are ready to go right out the box and for players that prefer that type of build.

In terms of the cushion, Nike is always the best. The full-length Zoom Air is placed directly under the wearer’s foot, which replaces the traditional strobel board. When you first try it on and step on it, transparently, you’ll feel the soft and bouncy feeling. And once you start playing on it, the feedback becomes more transparent. Besides, there is a bottom-loaded heel Hex Zoom Air unit that locate right at the heel’s impact or strike zone. Some other reviewers commented that, “I felt that the cored out Phylon midsole was a better use of material than the bottom loaded Hex unit. Each cored out section of the foam allows the foam to compress inward as the TPU cage restricts the material from compressing outward. ” Well, this is quite true. And looking back, it is understood that Nike is always making progress: the KD 12th performs far more excellent than KD 11th.

In fact, for most of you who are unfamiliar with the structure of the basketball shoes, you can see the white midsole cloth so long as you remove the insole. Virtually, such setup is used almost in every NIKE  shoes except for some that can replace the insole.

For the outsole, the tread on it is very shallow. Even in wood floors, the traction’s performance is not so good, if anything, very bad. But this may be closely related to the way Durant play basketball; hence, you need to choose carefully if you seek for acceleration on courts.

As I mentioned earlier that the TPU is large on the side. And it is the TPU that does a great help in the shoe’s rollover prevention performance. On top of that, as a result of the large TPU that extends to the instep of the KD12, the foot is firmly locked  during emergency stops and lateral movements. And on the other hand, the support for the KD 12 is very good. Some also remarked that “torsional support is solid as most of the midsole is wrapped in the TPU cage — restricting potential over-flexing of the foot.”

Overall:

As is seen that the latest tech are used in the Nike KD 12th. The performance of the support and wrapping and cushion are all consistent with the fact I mentioned earlier. If you require the traction above all else, then you may end up disappointing. Anyway, I am just demonstrating you some of the shoe’s performance; it is totally dictated by you whether you buy it or not.

NIKE adapt BB Performance Review

Surely, the moment NIKE adapt BB  was released, many a people were lured into purchasing it or if not,  preparing to purchase it. And so am I. Seeing the pictures of NIKE adapt BB , I too feel tempted to buy a pair. Like many people, the pictures alone are very appealing for me, let alone the real shoes. And luckily, I’ve also got a pair in the end. But anyway, here I am to show you(whether you have had the shoes or not) some details at length.

Certainly, what impresses us most is NIKE adapt BB’s laces because it is the first ever basketball shoe that laces itself! So as to improve its product, Nike has always been making changes. And besides the lace technology, many people also concern about the shoes’ performance. Someone concluded that “The fast-fit system is a real head-turner and works well, but doesn’t offer as much customization possibilities as a regular lacing system. Another highlight of this shoe is the high-quality materials that feel nice and look premium. The Cushlon cushioning system performs well but is a bit disappointing considering the hefty price tag. Overall, this is a really good performer and a must-have for sneaker geeks that want to experience the latest technology!” Anyway, please go on reading.

As a pair of Nike basketball  sneaker, this NIKE adapt BB  won’t be cheap. In fact, it is the most expensive basketball sneaker at present. Looking at the shoe box, you can feel somewhat difference about this shoe.

There are two layers in the shoe box. Remove the upper box and you can see the shoes. The black board below is the wireless charging board which is a more convenient wireless charging mode and reflects the evolution of adapt BB.

The shoes are equipped with a reusable sensor chip that allows athletes to check their physical performance during a race through their mobile phones, such as running distance, jumping height and reaction speed.

But only when it is used with IOS will it have the capacity of functioning its best.

For me, I am  given to buying shoes with excellent wrapping and support. And in terms of adapt BB’s wrapping, it is good overall. More importantly, the tightness can be easily adjusted according to your own situation. Besides, outrigger, internal heel counter, external heel clip, and great overall lockdown coming from the lacing system are all of great benefit for wrapping. With the support of  these tech,  slippage is seldom seen, nor does any side-to-side movement in the forefoot.  As for the support, it performs as well  as the wrapping except that it can’t be adjusted. But on the other hand, during your games, you may feel a bit wobbly because “your feet are pretty high off-the-ground. ” But anyway, adapt BB’s support is more than sufficient for average players.

Besides the excellent wrapping and the passable support, the details or in other words, the materials are worth mentioning. First of all, the integrated  upper. Adapting the weaving technology, the upper is light, breathable, flexible and above all, the break-in time is minimal. Meanwhile, the 3M swoosh, which is hot melted over the vamp, is decorated over the front part, and then over the heel  four dots are painted. On balance, to draw a conclusion about the materials is that they are super nice and feel great on foot.

The pattern of the traction is simply circles and lines. Simple as the pattern is, the traction’s performance is thought well of. Someone even observed that, “The traction performance is beasty!” Well, made of  translucent rubber, the traction does work really well on diverse kinds of courts providing that they are clean. While on dusty courts, you will need a while to break-in but never expect it to perform as well as on clean floors. I should say that the traction is transparently an outstanding performance aspect of the Nike Adapt BB! Squeaky, responsive, a little inconsistent on dusty courts though.

In the inner part, you can see that the insole is designed with blue and black and the letters “L” and “R” are  respectively printed corresponding to the font in the APP.

Taking the insole out of the adapt BB, you can see  a mid-sole, but there’s a black fabric in the middle of the shoe, which is actually a Velcro.

The wrapping in the heel and instep isn’t totally the same. However, the upper wrapping is still excellent as the upper sticks to the foot during both steering and acceleration.

With respect to the cushion, Adapt BB installs CUSHLON cushion in the midsole. During my tests, the full-length Cushlon cushioning setup really does a great help. I should say it is really nice and super bouncy while the only shortcoming is that the  court feel won’t be so apparent. For all the fact, the cushion is enough for most players.

To a certain extent, this Adapt BB is a long-lasting comrade because the electric motor of the adapt BB, as it were,  actually bears the anti-torsion function. However, a fatal downside of the shoe is that the  anti-rollover is not so perfect: there may sometimes be accidents if the players are careless.

Objectively speaking, this Adapt BB is heavy but certainly you won’t feel burdened in courts.

Overall:

For many a people, the shoes impress us most by its self-lacing mechanism because it really does a tremendous job. Some fans even gave this adapt BB a title: a smart shoe! Well, I do have the same feeling for the shoe, too.
